All CIU programs are accredited by YÖDAK (The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Higher Education Planning Accreditation and Coordination Council) and YÖK (The Turkish Republic Higher Education Council). International accreditation from independent scientific accreditation bodies means a lot to our university, and having been through this process means we offer an unsurpassed education exclusive to our students. Our online applications for Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs are free of any charges.

• Higher/Secondary Certificate or equivalents (e.g. O/A’Level, WAEC/NECO)
• Evidence of English Language competence: TOEFL (65 IBT) or IELTS (5.5). Students without these documents will take the CIU English proficiency exam on campus following arrival.
• Scanned copy of international passport/birth certificate

Master’s programs

• Completed application form
• Bachelor’s Degree Diploma
• Bachelor’s Degree transcripts for each completed academic term/year.
• Evidence of English Language competence: TOEFL (65 IBT) or IELTS (5.5). Students without these documents will take the CIU English proficiency exam on campus following arrival.
• Scanned copy of international passport/birth certificate
• CV

PhD programs

• Completed application form
• A valid Bachelor’s Degree and transcripts for each completed academic term/year.
• A valid Master’s Degree and transcripts for each completed academic term/year.
• Evidence of English Language competence: TOEFL (65 IBT) or IELTS (5.5). Students without these documents will take the CIU English proficiency exam on campus following arrival.
• Scanned copy of international passport/birth certificate
• CV
• PhD research proposal

No, you are unable to make changes to your application unless there are missing documents, for this reason please check and double check your application prior to submitting. If you do have missing documents, an e-mail from the admissions office will be sent to you and your application portal will be re-opened to enable you to upload the requested documents.
